Shonirvor Samaj (SRS) puts smiles on the faces of destitute people who are vulnerable to the cold in Bangladesh’s southern district of Cox’s Bazar. SRS distributed blankets among underprivileged people in the PM Khali union of Cox’s Bazar district. 100 vulnerable people, including farmers, rickshaw pullers, and housewives, received blankets.
Speaking on the occasion, Shonirvor’s DG Abdul Halim said, “SRS always stands by the destitute as part of its humanitarian gesture. We will keep continuing our efforts for society.” He also called everyone to stand beside the winter-stricken people.
After receiving a blanket, Amir Hamza, an elderly man, prayed for Shonirvor Samaj and the donors.
